the questions a CFO would ask
When does billing actually start?
Not yet. Alpha is free for everyone. When billing turns on, you get a 60-day grace window from announcement before any charges. We'll email + webhook every billing contact, twice.
What happens if I go over my quota?
Hard cap, no overages. 0 → 79% posts publish normally, no webhook noise. 80% fires quota.warning + email to your billing contact. 100% fires quota.exceeded + email, and new posts queue rather than publish. Bump to a higher tier and the queued posts publish immediately, or wait for the next billing period.
Can I downgrade?
Yes, any time. The change takes effect at the next billing period. No downgrade penalty.
Do you offer annual billing?
Not in v1. Annual + invoiced billing lands when there are enough customers to justify the accounting overhead. Monthly Stripe Checkout in the meantime.
Is there a free trial of Pro?
No. The Free tier is the trial, it's the full API surface on a 50-post quota, indefinitely. If 50 posts a month is enough, the free tier is permanent.
SSO / SCIM / DPA / custom SLA?
Beyond Business. Email us with what you need. The answer is almost certainly yes; it's a question of timing.
Refunds?
If something we built is broken and we can't fix it in the period, yes. Email rose@letmepost.dev.
